Special MATHEMATICA-Augmented Presentations
During the year, there will be four MATHEMATICA-augmented
lectures. In those lectures I will run and display specially prepared
MATHEMATICA Notebooks to illustrate:
- how some of the most important topics in the course can be
addressed via MATHEMATICA;
- techniques for solving ode problems using MATHEMATICA;
- some standard methods that you will learn in the course to solve
differential equations -- with or without MATHEMATICA;
- how MATHEMATICA graphics, symbolics and numerics can be
integrated to present attractive solutions to problems in
differential equations.

Much of the content for these lectures will be adapted from
DEwM. It will be your responsibility to pick up the corresponding
material from B&DiP as less class time will be devoted to
B&DiP treatment of topics covered in the special presentations
than to other topics not similarly presented.
