An introduction to the theory of  Hyperbolic Systems of Conservation Laws. Modern methods for PDEs: distributions, functional analysis, Sobolev spaces,

bounded and compact operators in Hilbert spaces. Mathematical theory of compressible fluids.

Prerequisites:
MATH 411 or equivalent.
